CTSA lines to raise currency charge in May

   Member lines of the Canada Transpacific Stabilization Agreement said Wednesday they are raising their currency adjustment surcharge to 6 percent in May.

   The surcharge was set at 6 percent in March but is to drop to 5 percent through April. Beginning May 1, it will return to 6 percent.

   CTSA member lines are APL, COSCO Container Lines, Evergreen, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, 'K' Line, NYK Line, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim Integrated Shipping Services.
