Da Chan Bay Terminal One, the westernmost and northernmost container complex in the Port of Shenzhen, received the vessel Yue Hui Hai 118, run by Ever Harvest Shipping Ltd. & Xiamen Harvest Shipping Ltd., one of the major HongKong-Mainland feeder service providers.
On July 1, Da Chan got clearance from Shenzhen Customs to allow direct feeder calls from Hong Kong. The terminal, jointly owned by Hong Kong-based Modern Terminals and the local government, has two berths, with three more to open by the end of 2008.
