Dachser Transport of America (Dachser USA), the U.S. subsidiary of Kempten, Germany-based Dachser GmbH & Co. KG., has opened a new office in Dallas to provide logistics services to shippers in the North Texas and Oklahoma markets.
Janis Mullman, a 25-year industry veteran, has been appointed office manager. By mid-2012, the office is expected to expand to 15 personnel and support the growth in Asia imports and exports in the region.
Dachser USA plans to add more office locations in the coming months. “The United States is the number one trading partner for many countries in the world,” said Thomas Reuter, managing director of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics. “We are expanding our U.S. capabilities to support the growth of Dachser’s global network.”
In addition to Dallas, Atlanta-based Dachser USA has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Boston, Miami, Cincinnati, Phoenix, and Charlotte.
