Dahl departs Dole, DeLorenzo dubbed David DeLorenzo has replaces Richard Dahl as president of Dole Food Co. ,the fresh fruit, vegetables and fresh-cut flowers giant.
   Dahl, 55, is leaving the company after three years at the helm “to pursue personal business interests,” Westlake Village, Calif.-based Dole Food Co. said in a statement.
   DeLorenzo, a 37-year veteran of Dole who most recently served on the firm's board as chairman of the audit committee, has been named as the new president. He will also serve as chief executive officer of the $6.2 billion-per-year firm, replacing company owner David Murdock.
   Dahl, who served with the Bank of Hawaii for 17 years as comptroller, chief financial officer and finally president, joined Dole in 2002 as CFO and was promoted to president in 2004. Dahl has also been a director of Glendale, Calif.-based IHOP Corp. since 2004.
