The logistics technology developer Data2Logistics has appointed Bob Newcom as director of professional services.
Newcom comes to Data2Logistics after 17 years in executive positions with multinational manufacturers, carriers and third-party logistics providers. He has managed all modes of transportation globally, the company said.
Data2Logistics’ professional services group aims to enhance freight transportation operations through business intelligence system data mining. The group provides resources to support projects related to request for proposal (RFP) management, carrier negotiations, transportation management system software, inbound routing, and network analysis, along with audit and freight payment services.
