Data2Logistics quickens freight bill auditing

   Data2Logistics, a freight bill processor, auditor and advisor, has launched its new Claims & Audit Review System (CARS) to improve and speed up the flow of information for shipping clients.
   CARS speeds up the company’s existing freight bill auditing ability, giving faster audit cycles, the company said. The system aims to do this by optimizing the presentation and navigation of shipment data that auditors review, caching client data, and distributing the data continuously to Data2Logistics’ auditors.
   The goal is to streamline a currently time-intensive part of the auditing process for Data2Logistics.
   The company is also in the midst of expanding its freight bill auditing, processing payment and advisory services for both domestic and international shippers. The expansions here rely on data mining and reporting to develop actionable information along modes like truckload, less-than-truckload, parcel, express, ocean, heavy weight air, and rail.
   Data2Logistics, based in Fort Myers, Fla., focuses on supply chain logistics, cost management and freight payment, and processes freight bills valued in excess of $15 billion each year.
