DAVIES TURNER EXTENDS CFSP COVERAGE TO AIR CARGO OPERATIONS    The Heathrow and Manchester freight hubs operated by Davies Turner Air Cargo, the air-freight subsidiary of British forwarder Davies Turner, have been accredited by British Customs to offer Customs Freight Simplified Procedures for handling imports.
   Customs Freight Simplified Procedures is an electronic paperless system intended to simplify and speed the clearance of third-country, non-European Union imports. It also adds flexibility to customs warehouse procedures and reduces paperwork for shippers.
   “This latest approval will allow Davies Turner Air Cargo to offer an even broader range of services to its customers as well as making our own internal operations more efficient,” said Philip Stephenson, joint managing director of Davies Turner.
