The third-party logistics provider opened a logistics center in Dubai Logistics City, featuring a warehouse space of 7,200 square meters.

DB Schenker has opened a logistics center in Dubai Logistics City, representing its first owned facility in the Middle East, the company said.
The new logistics center features a warehouse space of 7,200 square meters, which is equipped with temperature-controlled areas and ambient temperature zones.
In addition, the new logistics center is the first facility out of a three phase growth plan, which should provide DB Schenker with a footprint in Dubai Logistics City of around 25,000 square meters by 2019.
“Being located only a few meters away from the runways of Al Maktoum airport and Emirates Road and only 15 minutes away from the Seaport enables us to offer first class integrated transportation and warehousing solutions for our global customers,” said Ako Djaf, DB Schenker, Regional Head of Contract Logistics/SCM, Region near Middle East/Africa.
