Deeks named Chapman FreebornÆs U.S. president
Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has appointed Gavin-jon Deeks to president of its U.S. operations.
Deeks will oversee the global aircraft charterer's cargo and passenger teams, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was vice president of sales and marketing in the United States for the past three years, and takes over for Carol Norman, who was recently appointed Chapman Freeborn's deputy chairman.
Before joining Chapman Freeborn in 2007, Deeks held positions at Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa, Antonov Design Bureau and GFX over the past two decades.
Chapman Freeborn has 32 offices in 22 countries. The company coordinated more than 5,000 cargo and passenger charters last year.
