Delen, a Belgian, is chief executive officer of DHL BeNeLux and France and managing director of DHL Belgium and Luxembourg. Before becoming FIATA president, he served as a vice president since 1999 and as senior vice president since 2005.
Delen succeeds William Gottlieb, of Canada, who rejoins FIATA's executive board as immediate past president. Also on the newly elected board are treasurer Stanley Lim Hwee Hong (Singapore), secretary general Heiner Rogge (Germany), and senior vice presidents Francesco Parisi (Italy), Sarosh Nagarvala (India) and Suwit Ratanachinda (Thailand).
