Delmas, OTAL amend Europe/Africa services

Delmas and OT Africa Line, two shipping lines owned by the Bollore group, are amending two of their joint liner services in the Europe/West Africa trade.

The “Ro-Ro South” service will resume its nine-day sailing frequency following the return of two roll-on/roll-off vessels recently employed in support of the military action in Iraq. The sailing frequency had been reduced to every 11 days in the ships’ absence.

The “Express Service” will be fixed-day fortnightly following the withdrawal of one ship. The service will use three ships of 900 TEUs and call at Le Havre, Antwerp, Leixoes, Lisbon, Dakar, Conakry, Abidjan, Luanda, Abidjan, Dakar, Leixoes, Le Havre and Antwerp.

OT Africa Line said its “Weekly Container Service,” also in the Europe/West Africa trade, will remain unchanged.
