Delmas splits Med/Africa butterfly

Delmas splits Med/Africa butterfly    CMA CGM and subsidiary line Delmas have split a butterfly service connecting the Mediterranean and West Africa into two loops, according to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data.
   The five-ship service, known as Diams, has been split into two three-ship loops, with average capacity of about 1,760 TEUs. Delmas provides all six ships.
   Loop 1 will have a rotation of Barcelona, Marseilles, Genoa, Livorno, Malta, Valencia, Tangiers, Dakar, Abidjan, Luanda, Pointe Noire, Libreville, Abidjan, Valencia and Barcelona.
   Loop 2 will have a rotation of Marseilles, Genoa, Livorno, Naples, Malta, Valencia, Tangiers, Dakar, Abidjan, Pointe Noire, Libreville, Dakar, Valencia and Marseilles.
   Calls in Douala and Tin Can Island (Lagos) have been removed, while the call in Luanda is new.
