Deloitte/Llamasoft partner on risk management strategic solutions

   Deloitte and the supply chain design solutions provider LLamasoft have entered into an alliance to provide strategic supply chain risk management solutions to help companies improve their management of global supply disruptions.
   The alliance combines Deloitte’s third-party risk management experience with LLamasoft’s supply chain analytics, design and modeling software platform, and will assist organizations in better understanding, optimizing and managing risk within their global supply chains, according to the company.
   Specifically, the alliance will focus on LLamasoft’s capability to provide systems to help organizations model and visualize their supply chain networks, improve visibility and foster improvements in cost, service, sustainability and supplier risk mitigation.
   “This is a highly synergistic strategic alliance, one that combines Deloitte’s deep supply chain and enterprise risk management experience, supported by the global member firms of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd.,” said James Cascone, partner and alliance leader for Deloitte & Touche LLP’s global supply chain risk management practice. “It will enhance our ability to help clients with their critical supply chain challenges and risks globally.”
