He will succeed Wayne Burl, who is going into semi-retirement after 40 years with the company. Burl will continue serving the company as vice president and a member of the board of directors.
Holzscheiter has been in the logistics business for 20 years and has held various positions at Deringer, most recently senior vice president.
He is president of the Northern Border Customs Brokers Association Inc. and the trade chair for the broker subcommittee of Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network.
