DESCARTES EXPANDS WIRELESS ROUTING TO EUROPE
The Descartes Systems Group Inc., a provider of network-based logistics applications, said Wednesday it has released of its wireless routing, scheduling, and dispatch solutions in Europe.
Descartes’ MobileLINK technologies, used in North America for seven years, have been adapted and tested for the European marketplace. They are available in all countries that support GSM (global system for mobile communications) and GPRS (general packet radio service) technology.
The provider’s MobileLINK wireless solutions operate on third-party devices to allow real-time communication and data exchange between dispatchers and truck drivers.
Descartes, based in Waterloo, Ontario, markets 30 network-based applications and services.
