Desert Island AdmiraltyÆs greatest hits
The Eighth Bi-Annual Nicholas J. Healy Lecture will be a little different this year. Instead of single speaker, several admiralty attorneys will give a history lesson called “Admiralty’s Greatest Hits.”
Law professors David Bederman of Emory, Martin Davies of Tulane, Michael Sturley of the University of Texas, and Joseph Sweeney of Fordham will each present an admiralty decision and explain why it is among the greatest of all time.
David Robertson, also of the University of Texas, will moderate the history lesson that will be held at the New York University School of Law on May 3.
Nicholas Healy, who co-founded Healy and Baillie in 1948, taught maritime law at NYU Law from 1948-1986
