Deutsche Post, the German logistics and postal services
group, has announced the takeover of Arcatime, a French express and parcel delivery
company.
The terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
The acquisition represents a continuation of the acquisition binge in
Europe by the German group.
Following the takeovers of Ducros Services Rapides early this year and
of the Orgadis group early in October, the acquisition of Arcatime will enable Deutsche
Post to complete and strengthen its parcel and distribution network in the French market,
the company said.
