Developer to expand Forward Air truck facility
Commercial real estate firm Haith & Co. said last week it will expand its intermodal facility at Kansas City International Airport to provide more space for its tenant, Greenville, Tenn.-based Forward Air Inc.
The expansion, which will take the facility from 30,000 square feet to 50,000 square feet, will include 70 cross-dock doors for quick truck transfers of cargo.
Forward Air provides time-definite surface transportation and related logistics services for the deferred air freight market.
