DHL again lands State of Florida courier account

DHL again lands State of Florida courier account DHL, the transportation services giant that has its North American headquarters in Plantation, will continue to provide exclusive courier services all State of Florida agencies and institutions renewed.
   The state's Department of Management Services renewed the contract for all same-day, express and ground delivery services used for state shipments both within Florida and nationwide.
   DHL said 37 state agencies use DHL for shipping standard letters, reports, boxes and time-sensitive shipment. The contract includes government institutions approved to take advantage of state contracts, such as the Florida Lottery, state colleges and schools, and local and country governments.
   'We are delighted by this latest vote of confidence from the State of Florida,' said Charles Brewer, DHL's executive vice president of sales.
