DHL APPOINTS EXECUTIVES

DHL APPOINTS EXECUTIVES    DHL Airways Inc. has named Steven A. Rossum senior vice president of corporate finance and general counsel, and Jeffrey J. Simmons as senior vice president finance and chief financial officer.
   Rossum was vice president and treasurer of AirTran Airways Inc. At DHL Airways, he will oversee activities in corporate finance, aircraft programs and corporate development in addition to being responsible for all of DHL's legal, regulatory and government affairs.
   Simmons comes to DHL from Atlantic Southwest Airlines, where he was vice president of finance and CFO. He will be responsible for all aspects of financial analysis and planning; accounting, budgeting and forecasting and internal audits, and taxes.
   In addition, Vicki Bretthauer has been named senior vice president of administration, initially serving as controller. She spent 16 years as an executive with United Airlines.
   DHL Airways Inc. was recently spun off as an independent airline contracting service to DHL Worldwide Express.
