DHL connects Brazil swimwear to Miami show DHL is handling the needs of the high-end Brazilian beachwear company Cia.Maritima for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami, coordinating the movement of the various items needed for the fashion show.
   Cia.Maritima will have its U.S. runway show on Wednesday, and DHL has a dedicated fashion staff based in the United States, providing industry-tailored services for such events. The fashion staff offers specialty services such as sample room management, consolidation services and international vendor management.
   DHL said its consolidation services combine shipments and reduce the number of consignments for DHL customers. DHL's Import Express service allows fashion clients to navigate customs and government shipping regulations while ensuring critical deliveries arrive on time. Using its Import Express, shipments are handled by DHL from pickup outside the United States to delivery in the United States, with all tracking, invoicing and single-currency payment through DHL.
