DHL Chief Executive Officer Frank Appel noted Chile achieved the top spot among Latin American countries in DHL’s connectedness survey. A large reason for this, he said, is the country’s access to international trade.
“This relatively high level of global integration, alongside its well documented commitment to economic freedom, reinforces our view that Chile offers many long-term opportunities for our customers,” he said in a statement. “We are continuously seeking to enhance our services in this region. The investment we are inaugurating today will further strengthen DHL’s logistics capabilities in Chile and support the robust growth in international trade that we anticipate in this key market.” – Jon Ross
