DHL shakes up Asia, Africa regions

   DHL on Tuesday announced a shakeup of its forwarding and freight divisions in its Asia and Africa regions.
   The company said its global forwarding division will combine its north and south Pacific regional operations into one, with Kelvin Leung, formerly chief executive officer for the north Asia Pacific region, heading the joint unit.
   Meanwhile, Amadou Diallo, former CEO of DHL Global Forwarding for Africa and south Asia Pacific, has been appointed CEO of DHL Freight, where he will be responsible for DHL’s international road and rail freight services.
   Succeeding Diallo in the Africa region will be Thomas Nieszner, who previously was CEO of global forwarding for Central and Eastern Europe. He’ll now be responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
