DHL recently signed a five-year agreement to provide freight management services around the globe for BP’s exploration and production activities.
DHL Global Forwarding will handle inbound freight forwarding services for BP’s upstream operations. DHL Supply Chain already supplies warehousing and distribution services covering BP’s downstream logistics.
“BP has been a DHL customer for many years, but this agreement brings the relationship to a new level,” the president of DHL’s energy sector, Steve Harley, said in a statement. “It’s a testament to our commitment to continuously improve customer service levels, our working partnership, and the quality of our service offering for the energy industry.”
