DHL starts Southeast Asia truck services    DHL Global Forwarding said it has reorganized its trucking services connecting Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand into a suite of three new and improved services: DHL ASIACONNECT, a less-than-truckload (LTL) scheduled service; DHL ASIALINE, a full-load service; and DHL ASIANET, which offers customized trucking service for businesses.
   Amadou Diallo, chief executive officer for Africa and South Asia-Pacific at DHL Global Forwarding, said the services are good for small and medium-size companies whose volumes vary and are not always large, and for firms seeking better inventory management.
   'DHL Global Forwarding has been offering customers road freight services in Asia for years as it has many advantages ' it is faster than sea, cheaper than air and can offer customers more pick-up flexibility and shorter lead times,” Diallo said.
