DHL, Wyeth sign deal for clinical trial materials

DHL, Wyeth sign deal for clinical trial materials Wyeth Pharmaceuticals has signed a multi-year agreement for DHL to be the logistics coordinator of its global clinical trial materials distribution.
   DHL will oversee clinical trial logistics material shipments and processes throughout multiple distribution channels worldwide. The companies will create a closed-loop clinical trial materials supply chain.
   'We believe this unique collaboration has the potential to reduce the logistical complexity of our clinical trial operations by providing a leading global infrastructure, and expertise in logistics solutions within the life science industry,' said Ira Spector, a vice president at Wyeth.
