DHS general counsel to depart
Turnover continues apace at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where General Counsel Phil Perry resigned after nearly two years on the job, effective Feb. 6.
Perry is a former general counsel of the White House Office of Management and Budget and served the Bush administration in the Justice Department.
Secretary Michael Chertoff has had to find a new chief of staff, deputy chief of staff and other top managers in the past year.
