DHS official joins homeland security firm
The revolving door between the Department of Homeland Security and industry got an early start in the Obama administration this month.
Command Consulting Group said Jan Lesher, who recently left her position as chief of staff for operations to Secretary Janet Napolitano, had joined the firm.
CCG, co-founded by former Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Ralph Basham, provides security planning and lobbying services on homeland security issues for governments and corporations.
Lesher followed Napolitano to Washington after serving as chief of staff for the former governor of Arizona.
