DHX appoints Pacific Forum Line as Tonga agent

DHX appoints Pacific Forum Line as Tonga agent DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express, a freight forwarder specializing in serving Hawaii, Guam and the nations of the South Pacific, has appointed Pacific Forum Line Ltd. as its exclusive agent on the island of Tonga.
   DHX recently closed its own facility on Tonga, but will now use Pacific Forum Line, a multigovernment enterprise operating in the Pacific region for the past 27 years. It is jointly owned by the governments of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Niuen, Papua New Guinea and Nauru and was set up to facilitate trade among the South Pacific island nations.
   Tonga, formerly a British colony and now an independent nation, imports almost all of its manufactured products. The island’s exports consist primarily of agricultural and fish products.
