Dole switching calls on San Diego/South America service
Dole Ocean Cargo Express, part of the Dole Food Co. Inc., is switching calls from Puerto Caldera in Costa Rica to Puerto Quetzal in Guatemala on its weekly service between California and the West Coast of South America.
The vessel Dole Costa Rica will make the first call at Puerto Quetzal Sunday.
The service uses three ships with container capacities of about 900 TEUs and will have a revised port rotation of San Diego, Paita, Guayaquil, Puerto Quetzal and back to San Diego.
