DP World orders more Kalmar container handlers
Port operator DP World Monday said it has ordered 23 Kalmar empty container handlers for its terminals in the Port Rashid and Jebel Ali Port facilities, together the biggest port complex in the Middle East.
DP World has taken delivery of five to 10 Kalmar container handlers annually in recent years, with 40 at Port Rashid. The handlers are capable of stacking eight-foot, six-inch containers eight high.
