DP World’s Parker selected for British economic advisory body
Dubai Ports World Vice Chairman Sir John Parker has been chosen by new British Prime Minister Gordon Brown as a member of the enterprise and economy advisory body, the Business Council for Britain.
Parker was chairman of British ports and maritime company P&O, which was famously acquired by DP World in March 2006 for '3.9 billion ($6.7 million).
