DRAGONAIR CONTRACTS WITH MENZIES WORLD CARGO FOR U.K. OPERATIONS

   Dragonair, a Hong Kong-based cargo and passenger air carrier, has contracted with Menzies World Cargo, a freight forwarder, for Menzies to handle Dragonair’s cargo handling and coastwise trucking services in the U.K.

   Under terms of the three-year pact, Menzies' U.K. facilities will act as cargo reception points, and Menzies’s trucking service will carry freight to and from Dragonair’s flights.

   Bob Wetherill, regional manager, cargo, for Dragonair, said the agreement “provides further stability” for the air carrier “following the purchase of our own freight aircraft and the decision to bring cargo sales in-house in the U.K. and the Netherlands.'
