DSV buys Finland’s Wasa Logistics

DSV buys Finland’s Wasa Logistics    Danish transport and logistics company DSV said its DSV Air and Sea Finland unit has agreed to acquire WASA Logistics for an undisclosed sum.
   Wasa Logistics specializes in project transports and is one of the market leaders in Finland within this segment.
   DSV, which is headquartered in Br'ndby, said the purchase “will considerably strengthen DSVs project activities in Finland.”
   Last year Wasa Logistics reached revenue of about 15 million euros ($21.6 million). Growth is expected in 2011.
   DSV has offices in more than 60 countries and an international network of partners and agents. It has 21,000 employees and had revenue of 5.7 billion euros ($8.2 billion) in 2010.
