DSV expands Everyday service

   Tapping into a strategic growth area, DSV Air & Sea has increased the number of U.S. destinations covered by its Everyday air freight offering from the United Kingdom.
   Starting at $1.50 per kilogram, shippers can now use DSV to book their freight with a variety of carriers to “all major destinations in the U.S.,” according to DSV’s Richard Lawford.
   Launched last year between the United Kingdom and China, the Everyday service also offers express and on-board courier options for the air freight component. DSV has bolstered this service by the recent acquisition of U.K.-based forwarder SBS Worldwide.
   “The regular, flown-as-booked services ensure our customers can always meet their delivery deadlines,” Lawford said in a statement. “Our competitive rates are all-inclusive, allowing our customers to more easily control their total costs.”
