DSV Air & Sea Ltd. has appointed Michael Hansen as its new managing director.
Hansen, a 34-year industry veteran, has worked for DSV Air & Sea since 1984. In his new role, he replaces Graham Riches, who is retiring.
Hansen began his career at KE Freight Forwarding in Denmark. At DSV Air & Sea, he helped set up U.S. offices in Chicago; Tampa, Fla.; and Atlanta. He was later promoted to vice president for the U.S. Southeast and Gulf region. In 2008, he was made a member of the DSV Global executive board.
