DSV to buy Seatainers

   DSV has agreed to acquire Denmark-based Seatainers Group for an undisclosed amount.
   The transaction will close once approval is granted by competition authorities. 
   Seatainers — which has a portfolio of warehousing and logistics solutions, and air, sea and road services — specializes in large freight moves. Project-related activities will account for 60 percent of its expected DKK 1 billion revenue.
   “Seatainers Group is a well run Danish company, and its activities are a good match for DSV,” DSV Chief Executive Officer Jens Bjørn Andersen said in a statement. “By merging the project transport activities and competencies of DSV and Seatainers Group, we will create a very powerful player in a market with good growth potential in the coming years.” – Jon Ross
