Dubai moving ahead with U.S. port sale
Dubai Ports World is moving ahead with its plan to spin off the marine terminal operations it acquired from P&O Ports in March.
According to a report in Thursday’s Washington Times, preliminary bids for the U.S. port operations are due on Friday.
DP World officials said they would sell the operations after an uproar erupted in Congress over the notion of having a state-owned company from the Middle East owning marine terminals.
