Dublin terminal operator selects Tideworks software Portroe Stevedores Ltd. has selected Seattle-based Tideworks Technology to impalement a suite of terminal management and planning software at its terminal in the Port of Dublin, Ireland.
   Portroe anticipates raising its annual container volume from 200,000 TEUs to a projected 350,000 TEUs by 2008 as it brings in modern technology. Liebherr is providing Portroe with rubber-tire gantry cranes outfitted with global positioning system technology, enabling automated container positioning and denser stacking capabilities.
   Tideworks said it would work closely with other technology and equipment vendors like Liebherr to ensure complete systems integration.
