Dunkirk’s cargo up 1% in 1st quarter
The French Port of Dunkirk handled 13.96 million metric tons of cargo in the first three months of 2007, a 1 percent improvement from the first quarter of 2005.
The port’s roll-on/roll-off traffic jumped 21 percent in the same period to 2.84 million metric tons while its container throughput increased 12.5 percent to 55,000 TEUs.
