DYE NOMINATION FOR FMC COMMISSIONER FORWARDED TO SENATE

The Bush administration’s nomination of Rebecca Dye to serve as commissioner to the Federal Maritime Commission has been sent to the Senate for confirmation.

Dye, a North Carolina resident, is majority counsel to the U.S. House Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee.

If confirmed, Dye would fill the term of John A. Moran, who resigned from the FMC in mid-April.
