Eastern Connection expands Mass. office

Eastern Connection expands Mass. office    Eastern Connection, a regional parcel carrier serving the East Coast has expanded its office and warehouse in Woburn, Mass. from 11,000 square feet to 41,000 square feet.
   Eastern Connection said the expansion will allow it to sublease space to some customers to help them with supply chain logistic needs and improve efficiencies in its overnight and logistics operations.
   'This includes using a new parcel sorting system, which will increase our sorting capacity and help to dispatch routes earlier,' said Steve Lavigne, executive vice president of operations.
   Eastern Connection, said it's the largest regional parcel carrier on the East Coast covering all major ZIP codes in more than 5,000 cities.
