The European Commission has called on World Trade
Organization countries to grant duty free market access into their markets to all imports
from the world’s least developed countries.
European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy urged fellow WTO members to
support the European Union initiative in favor of developing countries, as WTO delegates
prepared to meet at the ministerial conference in Seattle this week.
