The European Commission said that it will raise no
objection to the Spanish government’s plan to increase the share capital of Iberia.
In May, the Spanish authorities advised the EC that they intended to
increase the share capital of Iberia by 120 million Euro ($126 million).
The EC said that the transaction is in line with private-sector
investment principles.
