Econocaribe starts New York/Marseillle service

Econocaribe starts New York/Marseillle service Econocaribe has started a weekly less-than-containerload export consolidation service from New York direct to Marseille, France.
   According to Romain Maunand, transatlantic trade lane manager for the non-vessel-operating common carrier, “servicing Marseille direct has been a request from many freight forwarders since our Europe LCL service began in April. Based on the freight forwarders support and the enthusiasm from our agent, Eculine-France, we have committed to a weekly direct service to Marseille.”
   Econocaribe, became partners with Eculine in Europe to and from the United States in April.
   Maunand said that “with capabilities of Eculine in France, we now have an excellent LCL alternative for freight ending in the Lyon region and the rest of southern France, as well as North Africa.”
