EL AL selects ECS as Europe cargo agent

EL AL selects ECS as Europe cargo agent    Israeli airline EL AL has appointed European Cargo Services as its cargo general sales agent to market is freight capacity from six European locations to the United States and Asia.
   The scope of the agreement covers Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, all of which the former national airline serves daily from Tel Aviv. ECS already provides cargo sales representation for EL AL in Kiev, Ukraine.
   EL AL’s five Boeing 747-200 freighters operate between Tel Aviv and New York; Almaty, Kazakhstan, Shanghai, China; Mumbai, India; Seoul, South Korea; and Hong Kong. In addition, the airline also provides three to five passenger flights a day between France and Tel Aviv, offering bellyhold cargo capacity on its Boeing 777 and 767 aircraft.
