EMIRATES SKYCARGO OFFERS NEW TRACKING MODULE    Emirates SkyCargo’s logistics management system, SkyChain, has launched a new module that allows customers to receive automatic notification from the airline on the progress of a shipment.
   The new module, Automatic Status Notification, removes the need for cargo customers to access the tracking module or call up the airline to find out what has happened to a shipment. When a customer books a shipment on SkyChain, they can instruct the airline to notify themselves or a third party automatically by SMS or e-mail when the shipment has cleared the different stages of transportation. The menu includes booking, shipment received, customs cleared, notification of consignee, and other aspects of the shipment.
