Enterprise Florida plans Dubai boat show pavilion

Enterprise Florida plans Dubai boat show pavilion Enterprise Florida, the state's public-private business promotion entity, is organizing a promotional pavilion for Florida businesses at the 2008 Dubai International Boat Show.
   With international demand for leisure boats, equipment and associated services booming, the pavilion will provide an area where Florida businesses can set up booths to promote products and specialties. There are three options available for space size, with pricing and amenities tailored to each option.
   Enterprise Florida officials noted Dubai is in the midst of a building boom that includes massive waterside developments with extensive marinas and support services operations. Similar developments are also underway elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates.
   With international demand for yachts and other leisure craft at an all-time high, Florida has become a hub for both production and international transshipments of luxury vessels. Numerous support service and niche production businesses have also sprung up as the industry has grown.
