Ethiopian Airlines selects Globe as cargo agent in U.K.
Ethiopian Airlines has selected Globe Air Cargo as its cargo general sales agent in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Ethiopian operates six weekly flights from London Heathrow to Addis Ababa using Boeing 757 aircraft. The airline plans to increase its capacity on the route by introducing Boeing 767 aircraft later in the year.
Cargo originating in the United Kingdom will also be trucked to Brussels to connect with the airline’s freighter services to Addis Ababa and onward destinations, Globe Air Cargo said.
Globe Air Cargo is a wholly owned subsidiary of European Cargo Services (ECS).
