EU AND CHINA END TALKS WITHOUT A DEAL ON WTO ACCESSION    Trade negotiators from China and the European Union have ended four days of talks in China without reaching an agreement on China’s accession to the World Trade Organization.
   The European Commission said that the talks made “some progress,” but the conclusion of a bilateral agreement was not yet possible.
   Pascal Lamy, European Commissioner for Trade, said the EU remains committed to an agreement at the earliest available opportunity.
   During the round of talks in Beijing, Lamy was assisted by a team of experts covering all areas under negotiation, including market access for industrial and agricultural goods, and services.
